About Us
The Humour Foundation is an organisation of expertly trained performers who bring laughter, joy and genuine human connection to children’s hospitals and aged care facilities.
Our flagship program is the Clown Doctors who work in partnership with health professionals to divert, calm and encourage positivity during children’s hospitals stays.
Our Laughter Care program is a world first, combining humour therapy and the arts to improve quality of life for aged care residents suffering from dementia or social isolation.
The Humour Foundation relies on generous donations from the Australian public who choose to partner with us to deliver the many proven benefits of humour therapy.
How your donation will help
All funds received will go towards our work in providing our service free of charge in Canberra Hospital. We'd like to do more rounds where 2 of our Clown Doctors visit wards across the hospital to cheer up children, their families and also provide some relief in a stressful environment.
