Ronald McDonald House Canberra is a children’s health and wellbeing charity that supports families of seriously ill/injured children and premature infants by offering much needed accommodation, food and respite during an otherwise difficult time. Our small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers keeps the doors of the House open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, to make a meaningful difference. We are dependent on donations from individuals and businesses to keep our local Programs running. 

All funds raised support our Ronald McDonald House Canberra, our Wrapped in Love trolley going around the hospital wards, and our Canberra Family Room, all within the Centenary Hospital for Women & Children.

How your donation will help

Over the last 10 years, we have helped over 3600 families, with our longest staying family having spent 308 nights in Ronald McDonald House Canberra while their child was undergoing treatment at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children. Your donation will help us keep our doors open, buy groceries for families staying in the House, buy pre-prepared meals and light refreshments for outpatient and local families using our Canberra Family Room, provide gifts and toys to sick children in the hospital wards, pay for toiletries, linen and vouchers for families needing a break, and most importantly, offer accommodation for families with seriously ill children and premature infants so that they can stay close to their child in need. Every little bit counts.
