About Us
TADACT assists hundreds of families per year in the Canberra and surrounding regions, providing equipment, advice, referrals and services to people living with a disability and those who are ageing. TADACT helps individuals to have greater independence, through customised or modified equipment that isn't commercially available, repair/maintenance services, occupational therapy and home modifications; helping to empower and improve self esteem, while enabling greater inclusion. Our equipment solutions also help to relieve the time and/or effort on families and their roles as carers, providing new and inclusive family opportunities. Regardless of your physical capacity, everyone at every stage of life deserves dignity and respect and the opportunity to be independent. These values are key tenets of our business and underpin any project, product or support provided to the public.
How your donation will help
Funds raised in this years campaign will allow TADACT to continue to design, construct and modify equipment where the need cannot be met commercially and to donate services and equipment to those in need or without funding. New promotional material with current logo, contacts and services will provide easily accessible information to the greater public and updated IT services and support will allow TADACT to continue servicing our community in an efficient and effective way, meeting the constant need that exists with an online presence. Funds will also assist the business in providing training courses for staff and volunteers that pertain to disability and age care sectors, ensuring delivery of services is of quality and that all equipment manufacture and design, continues to be compliant with Australian.
