About Us
The Legacy Club of Canberra (which includes Yass/Boorowa) is dedicated to caring for families of veterans who have died.
How your donation will help
Your donation will help a Legacy family to thrive, not just survive. It will pay for kids to go on a camp, join a sporting team, get a birthday and a Christmas present, and a family holiday at the coast. For widows and widowers, many of who are elderly, it will allow them to enjoy a bus trip, social outings, a concert and the company of people with similar lived experiences. It will help an elderly widow pay her winter power bills.
Your donation will help this iconic Australian charity as it begins it’s second century of providing support, social inclusion, welfare and financial assistance for those who need it most, and advocacy for entitlements.
