About Us
Stepping Stone is a work integration social enterprise that provides employment and training opportunities for migrant and refugee women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds through a sustainable food business.
Stepping Stone currently operates a cafe at Strathnairn Arts and a coffee van in Ginninderry's Display Village, both located in Belconnen as well as offering catering services.
Women employed at Stepping Stone report improved English proficiency, financial stability, confidence and sense of belonging in Australia.
How your donation will help
Your funds can help provide long term impact for some of Canberra's most disadvantaged families. Funds raised in the Canberra Day Appeal will be used to offer more training opportunities to our staff such as barista training, customer service, food safety and hygiene and financial literacy.
